About the Suzuki Collaborative of CPS

The Suzuki Collaborative of CPS, a program by St Andrew’s Episcopal Church, is a thriving community initiative dedicated to nurturing musical talent, enhancing character development, and promoting a love for music among children in Elyria and its surrounding areas. Our collaborative offers comprehensive Suzuki-method music lessons for children of all ages, providing a platform for them to grow into accomplished musicians who contribute to their community.

Our Vision

At the Suzuki Collaborative of CPS, we believe that every child has the potential to learn and appreciate music. Our vision is to create an inclusive, nurturing environment where young musicians can not only develop their musical skills but also build self-confidence, discipline, and resilience. We strive to instill an enduring love for music that will remain with them throughout their lives.

Exceptional Music Education

With a team of highly skilled and dedicated instructors, we provide exceptional music education using the renowned Suzuki method. This internationally-acclaimed teaching approach focuses on the philosophy that all children can learn music in a nurturing and supportive environment.

The Suzuki Method

The Suzuki method emphasizes the importance of early childhood music education, starting from as young as three years old. By creating a positive and engaging learning environment, children develop their musical abilities through a sequential progression of instruction.

Comprehensive Instruction

Our comprehensive instruction offers a range of Suzuki-based music lessons, including violin, piano, cello, and guitar. By providing regular individual lessons, group classes, workshops, and performances, our students can fully immerse themselves in music and connect with a supportive community of fellow musicians.

Musical Growth and Community Connections

At the Suzuki Collaborative of CPS, we believe that music education extends beyond the individual. We encourage our students to actively engage with the community, fostering a sense of belonging and empathy. Through various outreach programs, concerts, and volunteering opportunities, we help our students develop the values of compassion, leadership, and social responsibility.

Join the Suzuki Collaborative

Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced musician, we welcome all aspiring musicians to join the Suzuki Collaborative of CPS. Our exceptional team of instructors will guide them on their musical journey, instilling a passion for music and a strong foundation in their chosen instrument.
